Closed Mondays , Fridays and Saturdays,except for special events.
Hours Open – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sundays – 11am to 2pm..
We have FREE entrance and FREE parking and easy access to Hilsea Train Station (5 minute walk).
To get to us- Follow Airport Service Road all the way to the end, past Hilsea Railway Station on your left and BAE Systems on your right. At the end of the road we are on the left by the entrance to H&S Aviation security checkpoint.
If it’s raining call us and we may be able to pick you up. Drivers of high vehicles and coaches please call ahead so we can open the height restriction barrier.
The museum is on a single level once the nine original stone entrance steps have been negotiated. Work is underway to allow easier access in the future.
Information for Schools & other Groups: Groups must be pre-booked please. For all enquiries please email or telephone our admin team on 023 94 007775 or 07778026726 or 023 92 798751 . If answer machine cuts in please state clearly your name, any contact details, number and age of visitors, your preferred dates and times.
We can arrange a closed door visit for your event with notice, and we can also provide an outreach service to visit your school.
The centre dog friendly and on some days (usually on a Sunday) a sign language member of staff is available.
